LOWVILLE -- State police arrested 29 year old Daniel Rounds of Port Leyden for sexually abusing a female child.
Rounds is charged with sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and more. Troopers say the charges stem from an incident that occurred at a residence on Church Street in Port Leyden during September 2008. The investigation revealed that Rounds had subjected a female under the age of 11 to sexual contact, which included oral sexual conduct.
Rounds was arraigned in the Village of Lowville Court and remanded to the Lewis County Correctional Facility. His bail is set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
