SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police responded to an armed robbery where shots were fired at 121 Sedgwick St. #2 in Syracuse at 3:20 am on Sunday, January 20th.

Police say they found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the arm. He told police that two black males forced their way into his home and robbed and shot him.

At 6:00 am, a second victim showed up at University Hospital with a gunshot wound. The 24-year-old told police he was at the house when the robbery happened, but ran away before police got there because he had an outstanding arrest warrant. Both men were treated and are expected to survive.

Police think the robbery was not random, and that the house was targeted for the crime.

The investigation is ongoing. As always, if you have any information, call Syracuse Police at (315) 422-5222.
