SYRACUSE -- Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Syracuse woman for falsely reporting an incident when she said she was robbed in the Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse restaurant parking lot on January 20th.

27-year-old Lindsay Squadrito, an Ichiban employee, said she was approached by a man with a mask while she was in her car. She said he demanded money and jewelry and then ran.

The investigation was stopped abruptly by deputies when they found that the robbery never happened.

Squadrito was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Salina court on February 20th.
