James Southerland, we're told, met with the Syracuse University Judiciary Board, however the results of that hearing are either still in deliberation or is being made confidential.
Some things to keep in mind, Southerland being on the floor for Sunday's game with St. John's is not necessarily an indication as to whether or not he's been reinstated to the team. Certainly, if he's in uniform it is but if he's not it could mean that the decision hasn't been handed down yet or that he still needs to sit out more games.

Syracuse University senior basketball player James Southerland is expected to meet with an academic integrity panel on the SU campus at 1:00 Friday afternoon regarding an appeal to his ineligibility, according to Post Standard beat writer Mike Waters.
Multiple reports have indicated that Southerland's ineligibility is centered around a term paper from a previous year, but Syracuse University officials are unable to speak of the matter because of student privacy laws.
The hearing will reportedly be held by a University Academic Integrity Representative, along with an equal number of instructors, students, and a minimum of one administrator, making an odd number of voters.
The process will be closed to the public, and after the conclusion of the hearing, the group of panelists will be able to take up to three days to reach their decision.
Syracuse, meanwhile, is still hopeful that Southerland can be reinstated in time for SU's next game against the St. John's Red Storm on Sunday. Southerland has missed the last six games for Syracuse, and was the team's second leading scorer when he became ineligible.
