CORTLANDVILLE -- UPDATE (10:40PM) - The Walmart in Cortlandville has reopened, as of 10pm Saturday night. Cortland County Sheriffs say they received a call for a bomb scare at 2:45pm.

Brooke County Sheriffs dogs responded to the scene, as well as the Onondaga County Sheriff's bomb squad unit. The Cortland Fire Department was also on stand-by this afternoon.

Officials say no bomb or residue was found inside the store.

UPDATE: Cortland County 911 Center says there is no risk to the public. Officials continue searching the store, which remains closed to the public. Route 13 has since been reopened.

Cortland County 911 says the Walmart on Route 13 in Cortlandville has been evacuated.

Officials say Route 13 from Bennie Road to Lime Hollow Road has been shut down and firefighters are redirecting traffic around the scene.

Sheriffs say a command center has been set up on scene, but no SWAT team has been called in.

The 911 center says there is no immediate concern for the public if people stay away from the area.
