SYRACUSE -- A prayer service for Baby Easton Friedel is planned for Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at Lakes Church in Auburn.
Baby Easton has been battling Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a genetic skin disease, since his birth last August.
Baby Easton’s condition worsened over the weekend, postponing a surgery planned for Monday. According to the family's Facebook posts, he developed fluid around his lungs.
Late Wednesday morning, Cousin Amy posted, "He is really sick and my family is just praying he survives the switch over to the new vent. Please get down on your knees and pray not only for Easton... but his parents and all my family that is gathered bedside in tears, hearts so full of love and worry."
