SYRACUSE -- Hamilton Bulldogs goaltender Dustin Tokarski stopped 40 shots en route to a 1-0 victory over the Syracuse Crunch on Friday night.

Tokarski was traded from the Crunch for Bulldogs goaltender Riku Helenius (current Crunch goaltender) back on February 14th, and withstood a barrage of Crunch shots throughout the game.

The first two periods of the game were scoreless, but tension was high with numerous scuffles and fights after stoppages in play. Hamilton's Alex Belzile scored the only goal of the game in the third period, which was good enough to get the victory.

The Crunch is in action on Saturday night at the third annual Pucks for Paws game, with some of the proceeds going to the Pricilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation.
