CICERO -- One Central New York school district wants fans to know that even though more than a foot of snow has fallen around the area, its holiday basketball tournament will be played as scheduled tonight.
The North Syracuse Central School District sent out an email Thursday afternoon informing parents and students that the Basketball Holiday Tourney will go on as scheduled, despite the weather.
The tournament features teams from Liverpool, West Genesee and New Hartford in addition to the Northstars.
C-NS will host New Hartford at 7:00 p.m. in the high school's upper gym tonight. West Genesee will play Liverpool in the other game.
The championship game is scheduled for Friday.
