GLENS FALLS -- After being inducted into the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame, Bishop Ludden head basketball coach Pat Donnelly was inducted into the New York State Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame on Sunday morning.

Donnelly joined seven others in the Class of 2013 in Glens Falls. To his delight, his team, who were in the State Final Four in Glens Falls, were able to be in attendance when he was honored.

"When you start coaching, you never think that things like this will happen," Donnelly says. "It was nice this weekend, we played down there obviously then we worked it out so that the players could stay the extra day even though we lost, so to have the team there was very special."

Donnelly has coached two State Champions, 15 League Champions and nine Section III Champions.
