It was a packed house at Fayetteville-Manlius High School on Friday night as the the Hornets took Cicero-North Syracuse right down to the wire. But it was C-NS spoiling the party with a 61-60 win. Zachary Coleman led the way for C-NS with 20 points, while Brian Zapisek dropped 23 for F-M in a losing cause.
Meanwhile, just down the road it was big DuJuan Coleman using all 6-foot-9 of himself to help his Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams to a 80-53 rout over Fowler.
Westhill handed Bishop Grimes their first loss of the year with a 53-44 win. Dan Ross scored 12 points for Westhill.
On the Girls side, Nottingham and Henninger needed overtime to settle their game, but in the end it was the Bulldogs coming out on top.
