LAFAYETTE -- Jason Frier is an all-star, in school, in the community, and on the playing field. Jason is an honor student at LaFayette, where he stars on the school's baseball team. In the winter though, Frier is a senior goalie and captain of the Corcoran Ice Hockey Team. While juggling multiple sports and an honor roll average is impressive in itself, Jason takes it a step higher - he is also volunteer firefighter for the Sentinel Heights Fire Department in LaFayette.
Jason cites a passon of the extremes, his love for ice hockey and his love to help those in need in battling the opposite of ice, fire. It's these traits and those of a class act high schooler that prompts Corcoran Hockey Coach Matt Caron to say "he's the kind of guy you want your daughter to marry." If that's the case, you'd better tell your daughters to act quickly as Jason heads to the Southern Tier next fall to Broome Community College where he will play hockey.
Congrats to Jason Frier, this week's Dunkin' Donuts Action News Athlete!
