SYRACUSE (AP) -- Jim Boeheim's annual fundraiser - the Basket Ball - will be held April 24 at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona.
The charity gala hosted by Syracuse's head basketball coach and his wife, Juli, begins its second decade, and this year will support the newly formed Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation.
The foundation's goal is to enrich the lives of kids in need in the Central New York area and provide support for eliminating cancer through research and advocacy.
The previous 10 Basket Ball galas raised more than $3 million. This year's event will feature the Commodores. The master of ceremonies has not been decided.
