SYRACUSE -- Orange Nation was a bit disappointed when running backs coach Roger Harriott decided to leave the program, but the energy new quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett brings to the table should ease worries.

Hackett mentioned he's excited to mentor the Orange signal-callers, including the incoming freshmen Jonny Miller and John Kinder. In fact, when I asked him about the incoming freshmen he said they couldn't decide who was more excited about Orange football. It's clear when talking to Hackett, he will have an incredible impact on the young men the Orange staff targets.

Hackett, the son of former college head coach Paul Hackett, admitted he hasn't seen as much footage of the quarterbacks as he'd like, but from just talking with the incoming kids, along with Ryan Nassib and Charley Loeb, the future is looking bright.

Check out the video icon to see just how excited Nathaniel Hackett is to be with the Orange.
