CHARLOTTE, NC -- Syracuse assistant basketball coach Mike Hopkins has pulled himself out of consideration for the head coaching position at UNC-Charlotte, according to Fox Sports.com.
Fox Sports senior college basketball writer Jeff Goodman reports that Hopkins withdrew his name from consideration just days after reports surfaced that Hopkins could take the job if he wanted it.
