WASHINGTON, DC -- Three Orange men's lacrosse standouts and two from the Orange women have been selected as nominees for the 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy.

The Tewaaraton Trophy is given annually to the NCAA men’s and women’s lacrosse player of the year. This year’s award will be presented on June 3 at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.

Dove is the active Division I leader in points with 292, which tie her for 25th on the all-time scoring list. Dove is also the active leader in goals scored with 221, which places her in a tie for 22nd on the career leader list. This season, Dove leads the team and ranks fifth in the nation with a 3.64 goals-per-game average. In addition, she ranks second in the BIG EAST and seventh in the nation in scoring, averaging 4.91 points per game.
