CBA girls advance, other Class C scores

The top-seeded Christian Brothers Academy girls lacrosse team defeated 8th seeded Cazenovia 19-9 in the Section III Class C-2 Quarterfinals. With the win, CBA advances to take on Tully in the semifinals.

In the bottom half of that bracket, Westhill topped Jordan-Elbridge 12-8. The Lady Warriors now move on to play Skaneateles who beat LaFayette 21-13, the winner of that game plays the winner of the CBA-Tully game for the C-2 Championship.

In Class C-1 Jamesville-DeWitt took out Mexico 25-8, the Red Rams now will play Marcellus who also won easily in its quarterfinal game 21-7 over Chittenango.

In the other half of the bracket, South Jefferson defeated Cortland, the Lady Spartans now face the defending Class C Champions from Carthage who beat Homer 20-3.
