After several rain and lightning delays and even a change of venue the Westhill Warriors finally emerged as New York State Champions after topping John F. Kennedy 7-2 in the Class B Championship game. The Warriors also won last year, making them back to back State Champions. The Warriors trailed 1-0 early before rallying for a 4-2 lead, and eventually adding insurance runs.
