Oneida Nation CEO Ray Halbritter said he had to check with the powers that be if he could play in the Turning Stone Resort Championship, after a conversation with himself and checking the rule book, he found himself a sponsors exemption. Halbritter beat the odds at earning the right to play PGA events, which for his age (59) is less than 200 for every 64,000 people that try. Halbritter will be joined by tournament ambassador Notah Begay III, Rocco Mediate, Chris DiMarco, last year's runner up Vaughn Taylor, Woody Austin and so many more.

The Tournament held its media day on Tuesday a chance to show the media just how tough Atunyote is. Plenty of divots later, the media saw first hand what the PGA players will deal with in two weeks and safe to say our team at CNY Central didn't win the trophy.

Tournament week officially starts August 2nd, the first round starts on August 5th. August 4th is the annual pro-am, graced this year by former Buffalo Bills Steve Tasker, Jim Kelly, and Ruben Brown.
