Tony Stewart was in Fulton Tuesday night for the World of Outlaws Sprint car race at Fulton Speedway. Stewart is becoming a regular in Central New York, recently spending his vacation here racing in several dirt car venues. Just last week he was in Syracuse at the Carmelo K. Anthony center shooting hoops with fans and Jim Boeheim promoting the upcoming Nascar race at Watkins Glen
Stewart, of course, is going to stick around for this weekend's Nascar Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen. He says the success he's had at Watkins Glen gives him an interesting perspective all weekend long. "It's fun when you go out for practice, you catch guys who really try to get out behind you in practice" says Stewart. "That's the ultimate form of flattery. When you see guys trying to figure out why you do what you do there and how they can pick up on it."
