Cazenovia Golf Club pro Dennis Colligan has reason to celebrate this week, winning the CNYPGA Championship on Tuesday at Turning Stone, earning himself a PGA Tour Spot.  Not only does Colligan earn himself a winners check for $3,200, but he's also nailed down a spot in next year's PGA Professional National Championship.

"I've been having a pretty consistent year so far, I've been in the hunt most events, I won the Central New York Open earlier this year. But this one with all the pressure and the accolades involved, I was happy."

Colligan will also get a change to play in next year's Turning Stone Resort Championship at Atunyote Golf Course.  Colligan won the CNY PGA Championship by shooting an even par 72 on Monday, followed by a 69 on Tuesday, nailing 4 birdies at Shenendoah Golf Club and paring his last 11 straight holes.

"It's a great feeling, all the support of everybody in the community, all the Cazenovia Golf Club members coming up and congratulating me, my family, my friends, it's been awesome. A great experience."
