Vernon-Verona-Sherrill has the potential to be one of the best teams in Class B in 2010. The Red Devils return several players from a team that made it all the way to the Section III semifinals last season before falling to eventual Sectional Champ Westhill. As fate would have it V-V-S travels to Westhill on Friday in what should be a battle of top-notch teams.
For V-V-S it's an improvement that could come full circle, preceeding the big year was a rough season for the Devils that no doubt, is in the rear view mirror now. This year it's all about making a statement to the rest of Central New York.
