If the Orange volleyball team can end the year the way they're starting, it's going to be a very special season.
It's already been a memorable year with SU getting off to its best start in program history.
The Orange has started the year 12-0, and they've won their matches in dominating fashion. They have not gone to a fifth set in any of their victories.
"We have a lot of expectations on us," senior Hayley Todd says. "We had a lot of pressure losing key players so that sort of made us step up to that challenge a lot. We're not being complacent, we're playing every team expecting to dominate."
The team says it isn't focusing on staying undefeated, they just hope they can carry this momentum into the Big East Conference opener on September 24th at Georgetown.
The Orange is in action again Tuesday against Niagara. The match starts at 7 P.M at the Women's Building on the SU campus.
