NEW YORK CITY (AP) -- New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is already anticipating another World Series win for the Yankees, and he's even dreaming about the parade.

The mayor joked Friday on his radio show that he's so confident in the Bronx Bombers, his mind is already on the ticker tape afterparty.

"I'm sort of trying to figure out where the parade should start," Bloomberg said.

The Yankees moved into a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Twins Thursday night in the best-of-five division series. They play Game 3 at home Saturday.

Bloomberg said "a sweep would be nice."

Manager Joe Girardi said he hopes Bloomberg is right.

The Yankees nabbed their 27th World Series win last year against Philadelphia. They would still have to win two more series to win the championship this year.

Overconfidence can be perilous for baseball fans.

Consider 2004, when the Yankees were up 3-0 against the Red Sox. Boston made a surprising comeback and the Yankees lost the American League Championship Series.
