Nottingham Goaltender Bior Ajak took a close range shot off the head early in the 1st half and, while he was O.K., it turns out it was one of just 5 saves he'd have to make all night. Shortly after that stop, the Bulldogs took advantage when the Fowler goalie got caught up in the corner, allowing Nicephore Ndimura to net the first goal. Before the 1st half was up, Elvdin Hasanovic scored from a similar angle giving Nottingham a 2-0 lead and, as it turns out, putting the capper on a 2-0 final.
