The SU Basketball Team has been accused to many things since losing by 22 points to Seton Hall on Tuesday night, but one thing Head Coach Jim Boeheim won't let them be accused of is giving up. He took it upon himself to call in the a local sports talk radio show on thursday afternoon to defend his team, after many of the callers have been discussing the topic of giving up against Seton Hall.
"I didn't see that, I really didn’t see anything close to that," Boeheim told radio talk show host Brent Axe today on the Score 1260, "and the day a Syracuse team quits will be the day I quit. I don't think we'll ever quit. I think we may get beat, and we've got beaten worse than that, and that does unfortunately happen in this sports, but we're gonna keep trying and keep playing. We've got some weaknesses which are well documented and we've gotta play our way through this."
