The Orange may have won a big game at Georgetown on Saturday, but Team CNYCentral was feeling pretty good about themselves to. In what was their first, and perhaps last, game of the season, the team made of of CNYCentral staff members pulled out a huge 47-39 win over Galaxy Communications at Lafayette High School. More importantly over 16-hundred dollars was raised for The Golisano Children's Hospital and the family of Kristen Caron, an english teacher at Lafayette High School who is battling A-L-S.
Team CNYCentral was losing 20-19 at halftime, but went on an 11-and-0 run to start the 2nd half. Matt Mulcahy, Jeremy Ryan and Alicia Pennisi led the way as team CNYCentral fought to a 30-20 lead and never looked back. Peter Hall hit a clutch three to help seal the deal.
