Let March Madness start.
The NCAA announced the field of 68 for the 2011 Tournament. Syracuse is a 3 seed in the East Region. Team will take on the 14 seed Indiana State in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday. Game time has been announced for around 10pm on Friday night.
Should Syracuse defeat the Sycamores (the alma mater of NBA legend Larry Bird) they will meet the winner of the 6 seed Xavier and the (11) seed Marquette. A very unique draw for the Orange, because it could meet a Big East foe in the 2nd round of the tournament. Marquette beat SU 76-70 back in January.
Should SU win its first two games, it would come even closer to home, playing potential Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ
