Syracuse basketball has a rich history in the month of March. Some of that success has come from the large amounts of fans that travel to support their local team. With the Orange beginning its NCAA Tournament run Friday night, the players expect Quicken Loans Arena to be filled with orange.
"It's not that far, about six or seven hours so I feel like there should be a lot of orange in Cleveland." said sophomore guard Brandon Triche.
Scoop Jardine also believes that there should be fans backing up the Orange. "'Cuse nation travels well with us, no matter where we are", Jardine stated. "When we were in Utah we had a lot of fans. Cleveland is six hours away, so we should have fans there."
Game time is at 9:57 P.M. in Cleveland on TruTV. The Orange takes on Missouri Valley Conference Champion Indiana State. This is the first meeting between the two teams.
