LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (AP) - A Lou Gehrig jersey he wore during a road game in 1938 has been purchased by SCP Auctions for $329,000.
Company spokeswoman Liz McCollum said Monday that the jersey, from Gehrig's final full season with the New York Yankees, was bought on behalf of a private buyer it did not identify.
