The way they got their may have been different, but the end result was the same as it was the previous 18 games.

The OCC Men's Lacrosse team beat CCBC-Essex 12-9 on Sunday at Herkimer CC to win the National Championship, the program's third straight and 5th in 6 seasons.

In a season filled with victories, all but one in blowout fashion, the top-ranked Lazers found themselves trailing 5-1 early in this National Title Game. Onondaga though, rallied in a big way, outscoring the Knights 6-1 to take a 7-6 lead. Essex would knot things up again, but when OCC took a 9-8 lead, they would never look back.

Matt Crough was named offensive MVP, and OCC finishes undefeated at 19-0.
