Georgia Tech sophomore Brian Oliver is looking to transfer after the firing of Paul Hewitt, that's no secret. The schools he's looking at though, may surprise SU fans.

Oliver is reportedly looking at a few Big East schools including SU.

If the name sounds familiar, it's because the 6'6" swingman scored 32 points against SU in the Legends Classic back in November. SU won the game 80-76.

The big question is, are the Orange interested in Oliver? Certainly a spot has opened up with the departure of DaShonte Riley, but no word on how or when SU will fill that void.

SU Officials cannot comment on a potential prospect, as per NCAA rules.

What do you think about Oliver? Do you hope the Orange takes a chance on him? Why or why not? Leave a comment below.
