CINCINNATI, OH -- Wednesday update:
A programming note for fans of the New York Yankees. The Yankees are scheduled to play the Cincinnati Reds tonight after the game was rained out Tuesday night.
First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m. and will air on CW 6.
Because of the game, the two scheduled episodes of America's Next Top Model will air on CW this Saturday starting at 8 p.m.
Tuesday update:
Tuesday night's game between the New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds has been postponed because of rain and a forecast of storms moving through all evening.
The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday at Great American Ball Park.
It's the second rainout of the season in Cincinnati. The Yankees have had four games postponed.
The game was called about two hours before the scheduled first pitch, giving the Yankees a chance to rest their injured players for an evening. Yankees manager Joe Girardi was talking to reporters in his office when he got the call about the postponement.
The rainout means that NBC shows "America's Got Talent" and "The Voice", which were originally planned to be delayed, will instead be shown as scheduled Tuesday night on NBC3.
Check back with CNY Central for more details on television coverage plans for the postponed game once we receive them.
