Who says chivalry is dead?

Syracuse's Major Indoor Soccer League franchise is going medieval with it's name. The team will be known as the Syracuse Silver Knights.

The franchise will begin play in November and have 12 home matches at the War Memorial.

The team is still in the process of signing players and a coach. They will have an open tryout in August.

Knights and the queen from the Sterling Renaissance festival helped set the medieval mood for the announcement.

The MISL has 6 other franchises in Baltimore, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Norfolk, Rochester and Wichita.
