Day five of SU Football practice began with some legendary words. SU great Floyd Little shared some words of inspiration with Doug Marrone's squad, and the Head Coach could not be more happy with having that type of influence available.
"It is very fortunate for myself and for our assistant coaches to rely on him," says Marrone, "but more importantly for our players to have him around our program. It's an asset that's only going to make us better."
Little was hired by SU back in May as a special assistant to the athletics director. According to SU Athletics his responsibilities include assisting with student-athlete and team development, prospective student-athlete on-campus recruitment activities and development and donor relations.
