Twice in a row is very nice for Stewart Friesen.
The Western New York native took the checkered flag at the SEF Small Engines Fuel 200 at Super Dirt Week, the marquee race of the weekend, for the second year in a row.
Friesen made some nifty moves down the home stretch at the Grandstand at the New York State Fairgrounds to secure the victory.
"It was dusty and there were a lot of cars ahead of us on the last lap, so I was just trying to creep around the bottom (of the track) and just not screw up." said Friesen of his finish at the Grandstand. He went on to say "Coming down the stretch with my foot to the floor it's a great feeling, right on to that checkered flag".
Friesen held off Billy Decker, who had won every other race he took part in over the weekend.
