There's no overstating how important the freshman class of Dion Waiters, C.J. Fair, Baye Moussa-Keita, and Fab Melo was to the 2010-2011 SU Basketball team, and there's high hopes for this year's freshman class as well.

The class includes Trevor Cooney, a sharpshooter from Delaware and Rakeem Christmas who's a 6'9" center who originally committed to Georgetown then decided he wanted to be Orange.

Michael Carter-Williams was the first in the class to commit, his size (6'5") for a guard makes him very valuable at the top of Jim Boeheim's 2-3 zone and he also posesses advanced offensive skills.
