YouTube video shot in Jamesville
Mike Powell has been working on his singing and song writing since his days on the SU Lacrosse team, but apparently he hasn't stopped brushing up on his stick-work. A recent video posted to YouTube features Powell pulling off some slick stick moves in what's described as "never before seen" stick tricks and physical maneuvers set against a distressed factory backdrop." That factory backdrop, according to the YouTube description, is an abandoned concrete manufacturing plant in Jamesville, NY.
The link was uploaded by Easton Lacrosse, and claims that Powell is going to play in the LXM, a pro lacrosse tour that travels across the country. The LXM website is currently under construction.
The now 29 year old Powell played for the Orange as an attackman from 2001 to 2004. He's the only player to ever win two Tewaaraton Trophies, and also won attackman of the year award for four straight years.
