Two former Syracuse Orange Lacrosse players charged after restaurant brawl

Former SU lacrosse players Cody Jamieson and Sid Smith are among 5 Rochester Knighthawks that have been suspended indefinitely by the National Lacrosse League, according to a report by News10NBC in Rochester. Five members of the Knighthawks were arrested early Monday morning after a bar brawl in a TGI Friday's restaurant in Minnesota.

According to the report, the fight is being described as "a melee" inside the TGI Friday's across from the Mall of America, involving 20 to 30 people. The former SU players along with Travis Hill, Jordan Hall and Tyler Burton were charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing the legal process and obstructing the legal process with force. Charges are either gross misdemeanors or misdemeanors. According to the report, the charges against Smith and Jamieson could carry a one year sentence and a three-thousand dollar fine.
