It's finally here, the SU Men's Basketball regular season finale is today as the Orange hosts Louisville at 4 p.m. It's senior day for Orange mainstays Kris Joseph and Scoop Jardine and certainly the 30,000+ expected in the Carrier Dome will give them a rousing ovation as they bid farewell to Jim Boeheim Court.
Neither Joseph or Jardine has ever beat Louisville in the Carrier Dome, and both earned their first ever wins over the Cards on February 13th at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville. No doubt, the duo would love to get that one final accomplishment as far as revenge games go out of the way.
Louisville meanwhile, while safely in the NCAA Tournament, could really use a win after a tough loss to bubble team South Florida earlier this week. It was Louisville's third loss in its last 5 games, a stretch that started with that 52-51 loss to the Orange.
The Orange is favored to win by 9.5 according to USA Today's oddsmakers, and while SU only beat the Cards by one a few weeks ago, the Carrier Dome atmosphere could make this one a game fans remember for years to come.
