The Weather behaved on Thursday at Alliance Bank Stadium, allowing one team to win a Section III Baseball Title and for another to move one step closer to glory.

South Lewis won their first Sectional Championship since 2002 with a 5-0 gem over Fabius- Pompey. South Lewis, who had already won the Class C1 Title, played an error free game while pitcher Josh Stoffle gave up just 3 hits and stuck out four over seven innings of shutout baseball. Elliott Martin, Cody Capron, Shawn Loomis and Jason Martin produced runs with RBI singles, while Lucas Kelly contributed with two hits.

Cazenovia won the Class B2 Title on Thursday night with a 10-1 win over Sherburne-Earlville. The Lakers will now play for the overall Class B title on Friday against Westhill.
