For the first time since the Big East Tournament, Fab Melo and Kris Joseph were at the same press conference and they did so once again, as members of the same team.
The Boston Celtics introduced all three of their draft picks- Jared Sullinger, along with Melo and Joseph were all part of a press conference at the Jackson/Mann school in Allston, MA.
Melo and Joseph are sporting new jersey numbers for Boston. Fab was #51 for Syracuse, Kris was #32 for the Orange and the duo now sports #13 and #43 respectively.
As the Boston media asked several questions but one that may stick out for SU fans was when someone asked Melo if the Boston front office was worried about his academic issues at Syracuse.
"It's not a concern at all because I did what I had to do on the court-I struggled with school and now I don't have to go to class" replied Melo.
Both SU alums are expected to play for Boston's summer league team in Orlando.
