It may be 13 months away and there may be 5 major championships to be played before it arrives but Central New York's excitement for the 2013 PGA Championship is warming up.
The major championship will be played at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester in August of 2013. It's the first time a major will be played in Central New York since 2003.
The fact that over 150 of the best players in the world will be in upstate New York has piqued the interest of the local sports scenes as Championship Director Ryan Cannon tells me volunteers have been pouring in despite the tournament being overa year away.
