Syracuse Crunch fans exited about the upcoming season can now start doing some planning, as the AHL team announced on Friday it will open it's 19th season on the road on October 12 against the Rochester Americans. The entire 2012-2013 schedule has now been released, featuring the first home game as an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning slated for Saturday, October 13 against the Hershey Bears.
The Crunch will once again play the majority of their home games on the weekend, playing 32 of 38 home games on either a Friday or Saturday night, and three others on Sunday.
