ENDICOTT, N.Y. (AP) - The first round of this week's Champions Tour tournament has been suspended due to rain.

The round was called on Friday afternoon with 69 players on the course. Once the second round begins, players will remain in the same groupings they were for round one.

Bernhard Langer was at 7 under and looking at an eight-footer on No. 16 when play was suspended in the Dick's Sporting Goods Open at the En-Joie Golf Course.

Willie Wood was one of the few golfers to finish his round, and he had a 5-under 67. Defending champion John Huston and Chien Soon Lu also were at 5 under, but still had to complete their rounds.
