Weather may have caused our Toyota High School Game of the Week to be played on Saturday but the anticipation for the game will only grow over the next few hours.

That's because Corcoran and Henninger will battle for bragging rights, the right to be called the best high school football team in the city.

You see, the Cougars and Knights are the only Class AA teams in the Syracuse City School District, so naturally this game is a "measuring stick" as Corcoran's Head Coach Tyrone Fisher called it.

The Cougars are 2-1 owning wins over Utica-Proctor and Rome Free Academy, meanwhile Henninger is 1-1 with the win over a good Liverpool team and the loss coming to another great squad in Baldwinsville.

Kickoff for this one is set for high noon at Corcoran Stadium on Saturday, check out highlights at 6:00 p.m. on NBC-3
