In Section III football certain programs are known for certain exciting factors. No doubt, not much tops the Saturday atmosphere at Sunnycrest Park when the Henninger Black Knights take the field.
Henninger earned a pair of touchdowns from Keisean Scott and Chris Hicks in a 54-13 rout of Cicero-North Syracuse on Saturday afternoon.
This one was all Knights all the time, as Henninger took a 28-0 lead into halfitme and turned it into a 41 point victory.
The win sets up a showdown next week with the last undefeated team in Section III Class AA, Christian Brothers Academy.
In Class D, undefeated Weedsport paid a visit to Bishop Grimes and while it was close in the 1st quarter Weedsport was able to pull away.
The Warriors improved to 5-0 by way of a 49-20 win over the Cobras, despite 220 rushing yards from Casey Evans of Grimes who scored three touchdowns.
