Syracuse basketball's Michael Carter-Williams, who is coming off a 17 point performance against San Diego State in the Battle on the Midway, is on the watch list for the Naismith National Player of the Year. The Atlanta Tipoff Club has revealed all fifty players on the list, and Carter-Williams is the only representative from Syracuse.

Carter-Williams, who didn't start a game for the Orange last season, joined C.J. Fair in co-leading the way in this Sunday's victory over the Aztecs. The sophomore says he's finding it easy getting used to his new role on the team.

"My teammates put me in a comfortable position," says Carter-Williamsm "my coach puts me in a comfortable position, and I'm just comfortable in myself, so I'm comfortable where I'm at, and I'm happy. I'm just being patient and using my teammates and just finding what's open."
