SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Orange freshman center DaJuan Coleman, a Jamesville-Dewitt graduate, will miss the next four weeks.

A press release sent out by SU Athletics tonight, says Coleman will have surgery on his left knee Tuesday.

No word on what specifically the injury is but Coleman did play 7 minutes in Saturday's loss to Villanova including checking in during overtime after Baye Moussa Keita fouled out.

Coleman has started every game so far this season but his minutes have been limited in Big East play.

If Coleman is indeed out four weeks, he would return to action for the last 5 games or so of the regular season before the Big East and NCAA Tournaments.
