UTICA -- The CBA/JD boys hockey team finished their cinderella run into the New York State Division II Championship with another comeback victory, defeating John Jay of Cross River 4-2.

After Ryan Durkin scored to make it 1-0 CBA/JD in the Boys Hockey Division II State Championship, it looked like the Section III squad might not have to make another dramatic come back. But, goals by John Jay's Frazier Bostwick and Jack Grimm in the second period gave John Jay the 2-1 lead going into the final period.

Instead of Ryan Durkin, (who scored two goals in the third period in CBA/JD's last game against Beekmantown), Braeden Doust stepped up, scoring the tying and go-ahead goals in the third period to cement CBA/JD's first state hockey title.
