Mark Sanchez drops back for a pass at training camp
The New York Jets season is officially underway Monday at SUNY Cortland.
The Jets were up early today for an 8 A.M. practice, followed by an afternoon practice open to the public.
While the weather was beautiful, head coach Rex Ryan said the play on the field was anything but.
He admitted being a little disappointed with the first practice, but says he's not too concerned since it's only the first day.
Many of the Jets' big-name acquisitions put on pads for the first time today. Former MVP LaDainian Tomlinson and future hall of famer Jason Taylor were in uniform and say they are happy to have their first training camp practice as a Jet out of the way.
The Jets are back at it again tomorrow with two practices, the first at 8:20 A.M. and a special teams practice at 4:15 P.M.
